After owning The Raw Canvas for the past 16 years, Justin decided to start a new chapter in his tattoo career and opened his own private studio, Alchemist Ink, located at 530 Main Street, Unit A, in Grand Junction, Colorado. He is thrilled to share this space with his dear friend and tattooing partner of 15 years, Melora Monticone.

This decision wasn’t easy, but it felt right for where he is at in life. Justin will continue tattooing full-time, and is so grateful for all the support that made The Raw Canvas what it is today.

Looking ahead, Justin is excited to launch his podcast, Colorful Pricks, in 2025, focusing more on his fine art, and pushing myself further in the tattoo world. Justin also plans to attend conventions, so stay tuned for updates!
